The music stopped on April 21, 2016 as the world lost the incomparable Prince Rogers Nelson. As a fan, I am sorry for the loss. As an attorney, I am horrified by this latest news. It would seem Prince may have died intestate. That is a fancy word for “without a will.” With an estate that is already worth over a hundred million dollars and likely to grow every year, the battle to control his fortune could be epic.
